    Which sessions do you want to participate in? (check all that apply)

    Our Kino will last from 15th till the 21st of August. There will be two sessions and this year the first session will be dedicated to silent films with live music. All genres are welcome, but the sound and music will be performed live at the screening. The 1st will last from Thursday till Saturday with workshop day on Sunday. And the 2nd from Monday till Wednesday. The second session is the "traditional" one: all genres with or without sound can be produced in this round. We recommend that you stay for both sessions, so as to have the most intense film collaborations possible, but you are, of course, free to choose to participate in only one session. The fee for session 1 is 25 € (workshop day on Sunday included), session 2 will be 25 €, or 50 € altogether. Included in the fee are breakfast and dinner, a working place, rental equipment, free entry to the screenings, and endless fun.     Between the sessions we will organise short workshops on Sunday, 18th of August. Would you like to offer a workshop? (i.e. Acting, Directing, Script doctoring)

    What Equipment you can bring along?

    Camera, Laptop, Tripod, Sound gear, Car, crazy costumes etc. At a Kinokabaret sharing is caring, so bring all you can carry! Please make sure you have an insurance for your equipment, as we are not responsible for providing compensation, should anything happen to it. Please also note that we rent sound gear, tripods and some lights, but only if you have a third-party-insurance which covers costs, in the event of damage.

    WE CAN'T PROVIDE ANY ACCOMODATION MORE THIS YEAR. The Kino lab is not a permanent sleeping places. Still, if you have friends or relatives in Leipzig we would like to encourage you to seek for private accommodation eventually by your own. There are also affordable hostels or AirBnB in the area. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us!

    We do the best we can to offer you facilities for film making and creative exchange - in a huge group like this it supports the whole event if everyone feels responsible for each other and the spaces we occupy. Are you willing to help the organization team with small tasks during the Workshop, i.e. cleaning the lab, cleaning the bathroom, preparing breakfast etc.?
